About CNCC

Cambodia National Council for Children (CNCC) is a mechanism of the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) responsible for coordinating and raising recommendations to RGC on works related to children, promoting the implementation of the rights of the child and reporting of current children situation to the RGC and to the United Nation Committee on the Rights of the Child. CNCC has structured at municipal and provincial level and created also the Working Groups for Children at some ministries.

Component of CNCC:

The component of CNCC consists of: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the RGC as Honorary President; Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation as President; Secretaries of State from six ministries including Ministry of Women Affairs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training and Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation as Vice President; Undersecretaries of State from 21 Ministries and Institutions as Members and 01 Secretary General as Permanent Member. The genuine components of CNCC shall be determined by sub-decree.
